A little bit about me.
My name is Larry Freeborg. I’m a seasoned, richly experienced business & life transition coach that works with independent professionals and privately owned businesses.
My personal experience of losing my wife Shirley when she was 39 years old to Leukemia, combined with losing my job the same year during a recession, with unemployment at 10-12%, interest rates for businesses at 18-20%, and having to start my life over as a widower raising four young children with no money, no job, no wife, gave me a learning experience that shaped the foundation of my coaching and innovation/problem solving facilitation practice.
My unique gift is helping individuals who have experienced major loss in their life, overcome it and become fully engaged in their new life possibilities.
In businesses I help leaders gain clarity regarding what they’d like to create in the business by using the wisdom of the group and my gifts in facilitation to solve problems in strategic planning, business development (marketing & sales), and leadership development.
To support my clients in achieving their goals I’ve blended my personal life transition and business development experience with my gift in facilitation and life, somatic and equine guided coaching to help people move through their “blocked” areas (their gates/stuck areas) to achieve their goals.
My core life philosophy is based on key thoughts that “We are always at choice” and “We are all accountable and responsible for what we create in our lives”. These thoughts combined with my beliefs and values provide a strong, solid foundation for my coaching.
